I have been able to work and photograph some of the most amazing people. And Amy and Luke were nothing short of amazing. The weather was perfect. The sun was shining and Luke and Amy were full of laughs and smiles. They made photographing them beyond easy and I grew to love them every minute I spent with them.

Thank you Amy & Luke. You both were beyond wonderful and I thank you kindly for giving me the opportunity to photograph you both here on Guam. I wish you two a lifetime of happiness. Thank you!

They’re sweet. They’re tiny. They’re precious. They’re so innocent. And this is why people are so in love with little babies. Every time I a photograph a newborn, my husband just awaits the moment when I say — “let’s have another baby”. For me, caring for a newborn baby is one of the most rewarding feelings as a mom. But my husband assures me I need to snap out of lala land or else we’d have like — 50 babies by now. :)

And of course Miss Violet was nothing short of sweetness. Here are a few of my favorites.

Pregnancy is such a beautiful, amazing and special time in a woman’s life. There are never enough words to describe the feeling when caring a child. It’s such an incredible feeling knowing you’ll be caring for something so helpless, so tiny, so beautiful and all yours — and that is why I love photographing belly sessions.

And seriously, ReBecaa is gorgeous and radiantly glowing. :)

I am BEYOND THRILLED to share some exciting news!!! The amazing team at MDM had asked me to photograph their May issue. And guess what? It’s here! On stands now. Holla! I’m honored to have my images featured in MDM’s May issue and it was seriously beyond exciting to have worked with the beautiful Ms. Tiffany and the team at MDM. I can’t even express how much it means to me to do what I absolutely love. It’s opportunities like this that make me work harder, strive harder and dream bigger. All because I love what I do.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the amazing team at MDM that I had the pleasure of working with, my two assistants Brandy and Vanessa and of course the fabulous Ms. Tiffany.

DAUGHTER OF THE YEAR AWARD

3:00 am I rose out of bed. Not because I simply enjoy a cup of coffee that early in the morning, but because my mother was persistent on waking up that early to watch the moon set on the horizon. And because I love my mother dearly, I obliged. Plus, I get to receive the daughter of the year award too. You know – because I’m such an awesome daughter.

By 3:30am we arrived at the perfect location. A beautiful lookout point where it’s just you, the trees, mountains and the ocean. Breathtaking actually. We waited 3 hours for the moon to set and just before the moon was coming to the horizon, it disappeared. Gone. I never even seen it come to the horizon. In my mind all I could think about was how I could have slept three more hours. But hearing my mother repeatably say how beautiful the view was, I well – smiled and had to agree. It was beautiful. Even if we didn’t get to see the moon set onto the horizon.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this beautiful momma to be. They say pregnant women glow. Well Abby definitely didn’t lack in the glowing department. :) She was absolutely radiant.

IN THE MOMENT

I often take for granted this beautiful island I currently live on. No, really. I do. I’ve found myself blaming God for putting me on an island with no Target. Seriously, people. What am I teaching my children? I complain when a I see an advertisement on t.v. for a new product that just came out, I but it’s going to take almost 6 months to get here. It drives me nuts. I tell my husband almost every time we go to the grocery store how I can’t wait until we’re back in America and I find a grocery store with an olive bar and every imported cheese and wine known to man. And to be honest, I’m so ashamed I feel this way or say these things, yet I’m so grateful that I can actually admit this. And to the world for that matter.

A few weeks ago my mother has come to visit and while having her here, it’s really made me appreciate this amazing island of Guam. I seem to find myself always wanting what I can’t have instead of just living in the moment and appreciating where God has put me or what God has given me. LIVE IT. LOVE IT. APPRECIATE IT. All while just living in the moment. :) Oh lord, did that just sound like Tony Robbins?

So with this post, I vow to live in the moment. Accept the joy and the beauty that I’m currently living in. Because one day, I’ll wish I didn’t have a Target and instead relaxing on an island with my family all while soaking in the sun.

BOUDOIR ANNOUNCEMENT ~ GUAM PHOTOGRAPHER

When I first decided to incorporate Boudoir Photography into my business, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. Little did I know that after my third Event, I would feel so overwhelmed with gratefulness. I had no idea the out pour of thankfulness from my ladies would be so rewarding. Seriously, these ladies have been more amazing than I could ever imagine and I’m beyond thankful to have been given the opportunity to work with each and every one of them.

Which brings me to the Announcement of my next Boudoir Event. Hooray! If you would like to Register for my next Boudoir Event on Friday, June 15th or Saturday, June 16th – CLICK HERE and you will be linked to my website where you will fill out my Registration Form. Please do not complete the registration form unless you are certain you would like to book a spot for our event. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required via Pay Pal within 24 hours of completing your registration form. An invoice will be emailed to you.

I’m truly looking forward to meet some amazing new ladies and be given the opportunity to create some amazing and beautiful images.

JUST BREATHE

A few years ago after really pushing myself to morph my love for photography into a business, I was led with little expectations. I struggled and questioned myself often if I was good enough. Would I be different from all the other photographers? Would people be willing to have their pictures taken by me? Would I be creative enough? Would I leave just one person breathless? These are questions I often asked myself. As I still do until this very day.

These last few weeks have been a whirlwind. I feel like I’ve been pulled every which way possible with opportunities that I never imagined would come my way and such an out pour of love from my clients and future clients. Life is good. And in the core of it all, I do feel truly blessed. Even when life gets crazy, I take one day at a time and just breathe.

So here’s to catching up on sleep and family time these next few weeks.
